Ana Global Mexico is seeking a General Supervisor to oversee multiple production lines or areas, ensuring operational excellence, team performance, and adherence to safety, quality, and delivery standards. This role plays a critical link between management and frontline teams, driving execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with solid experience in manufacturing supervision, capable of managing multiple teams and ensuring consistent production performance.
Experiencia y requisitos
Operational Supervision
- Oversee multiple production lines or departments to ensure daily targets are met
- Monitor performance against KPIs such as output, efficiency, scrap, and downtime
- Ensure compliance with production schedules and customer commitments
- Coordinate resources and manpower across shifts or areas
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and support Process Supervisors, Line Leaders, and Operators
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and engagement
- Support workforce planning, attendance management, and discipline
Continuous Improvement
- Drive and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, standard work)
- Identify improvement opportunities across processes and workflows
- Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Support productivity and cost-reduction initiatives
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, and work instructions
- Support resolution of quality issues and participate in corrective actions
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of production activities
Safety & Workplace Culture
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies
- Promote a zero-incident safety culture
- Ensure clean, organized, and compliant work areas
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
- Support production readiness for new product introductions (NPI)
- Communicate effectively with management on production status and risks
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Technical degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Experience
- 5–8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
- 2–4 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Technical Skills
- Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, standard work)
- Production KPIs (efficiency, OEE, scrap, downtime)
- Root cause analysis methods (5 Whys, Fishbone)
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
